Based in the US, Mehra is reffered to as the Queen of Ghazals. For her performance, she chose from the genres close to her heart – Sufi numbers. Thumri, and Geet.
Vatsala Mehra rocks New Delhi Gymkhana Club’s Holi Concert, Feb 2010: Vatsala Mehra performed to a 2500 plus audience at the Gymkhana Club in New Delhi on the joyous occassion of Holi. The music enthusiasts were in for a musical treat. Ms. Mehra mesmerized her audience with Holi Geet, Sufi and Ghazals.
